GERALD STRONG DIED 1ST FEBUARY 1996 LABOURER HE LiVED IN NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE.HE HAD FOUR BROTHERS
ONE BEEN HIS TWIN,HE HAS FIVE CHILDREN TWO GIRLS,THREE SONS,DIED OF A HEART ATTACK.HE LIKED TO GO
OUT WITH HIS FAMILY WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER TAUGHT THEM ALL THEY NEEDED TO KNOW LOVED TO BE IN HIS
GARDEN SEEING TO HIS VEGTABLES ,HE ALSO SHOWED HIS KIDS HOW TO DECORATE,COOK,AND TIDY UP AFTER
THEM.HE WAS A GREAT DAD AND GRANDAD,HE LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING HIS FAMILY .HE WAS ALSO MY BEST
FRIEND IF I HAD A PROBLEM I COULD GO TO HIM WITH IT AND I MISS HIM DRLY FOR THIS AND ALL THE LOVE HE
GAVE ME.
We didn,t get to know each other very well before you passed away, but, we did get to meet a few times at Joyces place. What a lovely man you were and you spoke to me as though you knew me for ages, it was a pleasure to talk to you as you were such a happy go lucky type of guy always smiling and it showed in your face how proud you were of Joyce and the family. Dad,
It' still hard to beleive that it has been 13 years since you took your leave from us.I often think of you.Hope you are looking after our Suzi up there or is she looking after you old bugger.I pass on all our love from all the family and all the grandkids and your great grandkids.

To the best dad in the world I love and miss you I also remember the good times and the importance of the words you gave us five kids.We might not have listened at the time but beleive me those words were on reflection wise and loving and of so much importance to me I have used them with my own kids.
I myself am now a grandad and can only hope to be able to give a fraction of the love you gave to both us KIDS on to my own kids and grandkids.

christmas is just a few days away and i go back in time to when i was a child and remember the good times we been one of five there wasnt a lot of money but we always had plenty you made sure we never went without gifts and lots of love. i wish i could turn the clock back so i could be back there but i have my memorys that stay in my heart. so heres to you dad that i wish you a merry christmas and new year lots of love from your eldest daughter joyce . xxxx
